Drug Dealers In Bali Arrested By Police, Methamphetamine Worth Rp. 1 Billion Confiscated
BADUNG - The Badung Police Team, Bali, arrested a drug dealer from Tabanan Regency, Bali, I Wayan Wiadnyana. The police confiscated 700 grams of crystal methamphetamine worth Rp. 1 billion as evidence.
"The Narcotics Unit of the Badung Police has succeeded in uncovering the circulation of crystal methamphetamine with a value of approximately Rp. 1 billion," said Badung Police Chief AKBP Leo Dedy Defretes, Thursday, January 6.
The perpetrator was arrested on Tuesday, January 4. Officers have been spying on Wiadnyana regarding drug trafficking.
This drug dealer was arrested on Jalan Kerobokan, North Kuta. When arrested, the perpetrator threw objects from the bag he was carrying.
The police then checked the paralon pipe that was thrown away by the perpetrator. Found 15 packages of crystal methamphetamine clips.
Meanwhile, AKP Narcotics Head I Putu Budi Artama said the police immediately searched the perpetrator's car.
"When examined, it contained 16 packages in the form of plastic clips which contained methamphetamine-type narcotics wrapped in pipettes and pieces of paralon pipe and 3 packages wrapped in tissue filled with brown duct tape," he said.
From this arrest, the police also searched the perpetrator's house and found methamphetamine.
"Evidence of methamphetamine weighing 645.28 grams. The person concerned became a new dealer starting early this year and he is also a user," he said.
From the initial examination, the perpetrator admitted that he had slipped the methamphetamine in a paralon pipe.
