Timsel Submits 14 Candidates For KPU And 10 Bawaslu Members To Jokowi, Here's The List

JAKARTA - The Selection Team for Candidates for KPU and Bawaslu Members for the term of 2022-2024 handed over 14 names of candidates for KPU members and 10 candidates for Bawaslu Members to President Joko Widodo.

The chairman of South Timsel, Juri Ardiantor said, his party had gone through a selection process for 3 months, starting from the announcement of registration, acceptance of registration, administrative selection, written test, psychological test, medical test, interview and then profiling or exploring the track record of each prospective candidate.

"We have submitted the names that we have decided through the plenary meeting of the selection team yesterday, January 5, 2022," said the jury at the Bogor Palace, Thursday, January 6.

The jury said that the list of names of candidates for KPU and Bawaslu members was determined in the Decision of the Selection Team for Candidates for Members of the General Elections Commission and Candidates for Members of the General Elections Supervisory Body for the period of 2022-2027 Number: 358/TIMSEL/I/2022, 14 candidates for KPU members and 10 candidates for Bawaslu members.

"Furthermore, the President will convey the names that we have decided and we will convey to the President to be submitted to the DPR RI and the DPR RI will later carry out a fit and proper test of 14 names of KPU candidates and 10 Bawaslu candidates and half of the candidates will be selected. has been proposed by the President," he explained
