Secretly Infrastructure Development At IKN Already Rp6.4 Trillion, Starting From Airport To Soldier's House

JAKARTA – The government through the Minister of Finance (Menkeu) Sri Mulyani stated that the construction of a number of infrastructures in East Kalimantan from 2014 to early 2022 had reached a value of Rp6.48 trillion.

According to the Minister of Finance, the funds come from the State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) obtained through State Sharia Securities (SBSN).

“We marked the asset as an SBSN asset because it was included in the balance sheet. And this is what happened and of course this asset must be maintained," he said during a working visit to East Kalimantan as released on the official website on Thursday, January 6.

On this occasion, the Minister of Finance signed several inscriptions for SBSN projects in East Kalimantan Province, such as the Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) with a development allocation of IDR 86.6 billion in 2019 and IDR 99.9 billion in 2020.

Then, Balikpapan State Polytechnic of Rp. 65 billion in 2021, MAN Insan Cendekia Paser of Rp. 53.9 billion, APT Pranoto airport in Samarinda for connectivity support for the State Capital (IKN) of Rp. 326.37 billion.

Then, housing for TNI and Polri soldiers is Rp. 1.16 trillion spread across various dimensions, as well as the State House for Indonesian Army Soldiers at Kodam VI Mulawarman which gets an allocation of Rp. 13.43 billion.

"Hopefully what we build can continue to be maintained, maintained and can be utilized. For this reason, we must have a strong commitment to continue to grow so that we can return the people's money with the maximum benefit. And this is certainly expected to be a valuable investment for the younger generation to come,” said the Minister of Finance.

For information, project financing through SBSN is a policy synergy between the Ministry of Finance and other ministries/agencies to finance national priority projects or activities, including IKN.

It is stated that various infrastructures originating from SBSN can support the education and connectivity sectors, as well as become supporting infrastructure in the construction of the new National Capital.

“This is part of us managing state finances whose goal is to achieve the ideals of an independent Republic of Indonesia. Independent with passion and with noble ideals, wanting to become a country that continues to be sovereign, united, just, prosperous, dignified, even in the aspiration to become a country that participates in maintaining world order," concluded Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani.
