Persecutors Of Two Private Campus Students In Semarang Arrested By Police

SEMARANG - Semarang Police have arrested three perpetrators of stabbing two students from a private university in the capital city of Central Java who had previously been involved in a dispute during a student meeting at the campus.

"The incident occurred on December 30, 2021 on Jalan Menoreh Tengah X," said Semarang Police Chief Kombes Irwan Anwar as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, January 5.

He explained that the incident began with a student meeting at the university located in the Sampangan area, Semarang City.

"There was a lot of commotion on campus, there was a beating," he said.

From the perpetrator's statement, he said, there was a provocation so that the problem was solved outside the campus.

After the activity, he continued, victims Naufal Arkan Al Farisy (20) and Darul Husni (20) were intercepted and slashed with sickles.

The three perpetrators are Nurudin (19) who is also a private university student and two of his servants, namely Dolly Saputra (20) and DRK (16).

In his statement, the suspect, Nurudin, stated that his actions were a personal matter, not related to the organization on campus.

The act of abuse outside the campus, said the suspect, was a retaliatory action because he was the victim of a beating during a student meeting which ended in chaos.

For their actions, the suspects were charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code concerning persecution.
