Reportedly OTT Mayor Of Bekasi, KPK Asks People To Be Patient
JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nurul Ghufron asked the public to be patient while waiting for the results of the investigation of those arrested in a hand arrest operation (OTT) in Bekasi, West Java.
The KPK currently has 1x24 hours to determine the status of those involved in the silent operation. Including, the construction of the alleged corruption case.
"Please be patient when the time comes, we will inform you after the inspection process is complete," Ghufron told reporters, Wednesday, January 5.
Even so, he did not deny the arrest of the Mayor of Bekasi, Rahmat Effendi. Ghufron stated that his party is currently conducting further investigations.
"We are currently examining the parties to make clear the allegations of corruption that we are investigating," he said. As previously reported, Acting KPK Spokesperson for Enforcement Sector Ali Fikri said the silent operation carried out in Bekasi City, West Java was carried out at around 14:00 WIB.
Furthermore, the KPK has time to determine who the suspects are. Including, the construction of alleged corruption cases.
"KPK has 1x24 hours to determine the attitude of the results of the ongoing investigation," he said.
