Cash Assistance Given To Central Java Traders: Very Grateful To Have A Leader Like Pak Jokowi
JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo visited Gemolong Market, Sragen Regency, Central Java during his working visit today.
Getting out of the car, Jokowi was immediately greeted by residents who were waiting. He greeted a number of traders and handed over cash assistance to street vendors (PKL) and stalls who trade in the market every day.
A mother who trades in Gemolong Market receives cash assistance with joy. He was so moved, he almost cried when he said his gratitude.
"Alhamdulillah, today I can meet the number one person, that's my dream. I wish Mr. Jokowi always success, long life, health, lots of sustenance so that he can help people who are in trouble like me. I am very grateful to have a leader like Mr. Jokowi," said the mother, quoted on the Presidential Secretariat's Youtube channel, Wednesday, January 5.
Another trader also took the opportunity to take pictures with the former governor of DKI Jakarta after receiving cash assistance. While showing off photos on his cellphone, he was grateful to be able to meet Jokowi in person.
"I'm very happy, O Allah, this is the first time Mr. Jokowi has come to Gemolong. During (Jokowi's) presidency, this is the first time. I want to post (photo with Jokowi) on Instagram," he said.
Jokowi went back around the market to greet the traders. To them, Jokowi advised that cash assistance be used as additional trading capital, before Jokowi continued working visits to other locations.
"Have you received it? Use it for trading capital," Jokowi ordered.
"Thank you, sir," exclaimed the merchants.
For the umpteenth time, President Joko Widodo returned to make a working visit to Central Java. Accompanied by Governor Ganjar Pranowo, Jokowi visited four regions, namely Sragen, Blora, Grobogan and Semarang City.
Landing at Adi Soemarmo Airport in Solo, President Jokowi and his entourage went straight to the first point, Gemolong Market, Sragen Regency. Jokowi and Ganjar greeted and distributed basic necessities to traders.
From Sragen, President Jokowi, Governor Ganjar Pranowo and their entourage went to Grobogan to visit Purwodadi Market and SD N 3 Nglinduk. Residents waiting for Jokowi's arrival cheered when the group arrived.
Jokowi and Ganjar and their entourage went straight to the elementary school yard located in Gabus Village, Tlogotirto District, Grobogan. Ganjar had time to greet vaccination participants at other points who followed virtually.
