'This Is For Additional Capital', Said Jokowi When Giving Cash Assistance To Traders In Grobogan

JAKARTA - Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) reminded traders in the market to be disciplined in carrying out health protocols to prevent the transmission of COVID-19, namely wearing masks, maintaining distance and washing hands.

"Don't forget to wear a mask, okay? I'm wearing a mask," said the President, showing the mask he was using to traders at the Purwodadi Public Market, Grobogan, Central Java, Wednesday, January 5.

When he arrived at the market, the President greeted the traders who were selling. He also handed over groceries and cash assistance to market traders.

"This is for additional capital," said the President to the traders.

"Thank you, Mr. President," said the traders.

After walking around greeting the traders, the President and his entourage continued their journey to SDN 3 Nglinduk, Grobogan Regency to review the implementation of vaccinations for children aged 6-11 years.

The President and his entourage are scheduled to return to Jakarta on Wednesday evening, via the Ahmad Yani Army Main Air Base, Semarang City, using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft.
