Police Chase Youth Groups Of Robbers And Robbers At Cipinang Melayu Residents' Houses

JAKARTA - Based on the results of the investigation by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Makassar Police on reports of beatings and robberies at the house of victim Titi Suherti (48), the Criminal Investigation Team has identified the identities of the perpetrators.

"Nine people have been identified," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Makassar Police, Iptu Mochammad Zen, when confirmed, Wednesday, January 5.

Meanwhile, the identity of the other perpetrators is still being sought. Because, there were about 20 people who attacked one family.

"This is still an ongoing investigation," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the beatings and attacks carried out by a group of youths in a house located in RW 03, Cipinang Melayu Village, Makasar District, East Jakarta, also appeared to have a robbery motive.

According to Titi Suherti (48), the victim's parents, the beatings experienced by Marwan (23) and Ramdoni (25) were apparently followed by the robbery of a number of their valuables in the house.

After breaking into the victim's house and ganging up on the occupants of the house, the perpetrators also snatched a motorbike along with a Vehicle Registration Certificate (STNK) and a Motorized Vehicle Owner's Book (BPKB), four guitars with a total value of millions of rupiah, a 24-inch TV, and a piggy bank containing about Rp. 3 million from Titi's house.

Titi said the perpetrators robbed the property in her house shortly after the incident.

"After dawn, the incident ended, my children and I immediately left the house. But when I left, at around 07.00 WIB, the perpetrator came," Titi told reporters, Wednesday, January 5.

To the officers of the Integrated Police Service Center (SPKT) of the Makassar Police, Titi reported two criminal cases of beatings and robberies to the Makassar Police Headquarters.
