Launches Children's Freedom Vaccination, National Police Chief Talks On Anticipation Of Transmission During Face-to-face Learning
JAKARTA - The National Police (Polri) Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, has launched an independent childhood vaccination program. This program aims to increase children's immunity against COVID-29, especially the Omicron variant.
"Meanwhile, those aged 1 to 11 currently have 71.4 percent lower immunity. So like it or not, we want to accelerate vaccination," said General Sigit during the child vaccination program in Central Jakarta, Wednesday, January 5.
In an effort to accelerate vaccination, said Sigit, an independent child vaccination program was simultaneously held throughout Indonesia. Where the process involves the National Armed Forces (TNI) and health workers
"To accelerate the acceleration of the president's directives, today we carry out the joint launching of children's independent vaccinations simultaneously in 30 provinces, in 30 regional police (Polda) with the support of vaccinators from the TNI-Polri, volunteers from the Health Office and of course all colleagues involved," said Sigit.

On the other hand, vaccination of children is also to minimize the transmission of COVID-19. This is because the government has implemented a face-to-face learning (PTM) scheme.
"The acceleration of vaccination for our children is because the President has opened 100 percent face-to-face learning and on the one hand this is the needs of our children who have been missing the opportunity to learn because of distance learning," said Sigit.
"We also keep our children, on the one hand, face-to-face learning runs smoothly and our children are protected through vaccines," he continued.
