3 Suspects Of Water Sprinkling In North Sumatra Asahan Arrested, Victim's Wife Becomes The Brain Of The Perpetrator
MEDAN - The Asahan Police Criminal Investigation Unit, North Sumatra (North Sumatra) have arrested three suspects for pouring hard water on a man named M Irsyad (47), a resident of Air Joman sub-district, Asahan.
The Asahan Police Chief, AKBP Putu Yudha Prawira, mentioned the identities of the three suspects, each with the initials LJ (45), N (48), and HPT (40).
"The perpetrator's brain is LJ, who is the wife of the victim," he said, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, January 4.
The watering incident occurred on Wednesday, December 29 at the victim's house. At that time, the victim's child named Fani (23) received a phone call from her sister who said there had been a commotion at their house.
He then returned home and found his father had lost consciousness due to being doused with hard water. Subsequently, he reported the incident to the Asahan Police.
Based on the report, the police officers investigated the crime scene and examined several witnesses, so that the identity of the alleged perpetrator was obtained.
The officers then carried out an investigation and succeeded in arresting the suspect LJ on Monday, January 3.
From the results of the interrogation, suspect LJ admitted that he paid suspect N and HPT to douse her husband with liquor.
"LJ was determined to do what he did because he felt hurt, because the victim was in a relationship with another woman," he said.
Based on this confession, officers carried out developments and succeeded in arresting suspects N and HPT in Aek Kanopan.
"Suspect LJ and N have a relationship. Suspect N ordered the suspect HPT to douse the victim with liquor. The three of them are currently in custody," he said.
