KPK Focus In 2022: G20 Until 2021 Budget Evaluation
JAKARTA - Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Firli Bahuri explained a number of things that will be the focus of his institution. Among them is strengthening the G20 Summit (Summit) which will be held in Bali to evaluate the budget in 2021.
"There are several important things for the KPK to follow up on in 2022. These include the chairmanship of Indonesia at the G20, evaluation of the 2021 budget and the posture of the 2022 state budget, and the government's targets," Firli said as quoted from his Instagram account @firlibahuriofficial, Tuesday, January 3.
The entire focus, continued Firli, was carried out based on the performance evaluation that was issued at the end of last year.
"Performance evaluation is important to see the success and achievement targets as well as to be used as a work plan for 2022," said the former Deputy for Enforcement of the KPK.
Furthermore, he emphasized that the KPK will try to eradicate corruption by involving all parties. However, all ministries, institutions as well as central and local governments must participate as a unit.
So that in the future the corruption eradication orchestration that has been echoed so far can run well.
Not only that, but invitations to eradicate corruption were also conveyed to the legislature, executive, and political parties. Because eradicating corruption cannot be done if the KPK is only doing it alone.
"I also ensure and invite all chambers of legislative, executive, judicial, and political parties to carry out the corruption eradication orchestration. This is important because it is not only carried out by the KPK itself," he concluded.
