Woman's Body Found Stuck In Door Number 4 Serayu Motion Weir Banyumas, Turns Out...

BANYUMAS - Joint officers from various agencies and organizations evacuated a woman's body that was stuck at Gate No. 4 of the Serayu Weir, Gambarsari Village, Banyumas Regency, Central Java.

"The presence of the corpse was first discovered by the public who were passing over the Gerak Serayu Weir this morning and then it was reported to Apri's brother as an officer of the Serayu Weir," said Banyumas District Disaster Preparedness (Tagana) Coordinator, Ady Candra in Gambarsari Village, Banyumas. from Antara, Tuesday, January 4th.

The Serayu Gerak Weir officer reported the information to the Kebasen Police and the Kebasen Koramil and forwarded it to the SAR Team to evacuate the bodies.

According to Ary, the Banyumas Tagana Joint SAR Team, Banyuams Kwarcab Care Scouts, Banyumas Regency BPBD, Banyumas PMI, Banyumas Police Inafis, Kebasen Health Center, and a number of other agencies/organizations began evacuating at 07.30 WIB.

"After being evacuated, the female body was identified by officers from Inafis Polresta Banyumas and Puskesmas Kebasen. From the identification results, no injuries or signs of abuse were found, so the victim died from drowning," he said.

He said the identification results revealed that the victim's name was Darti (70), a resident of Jalan Cengkeh, Bulupayung Village, Cilacap Regency.

"After undergoing examination and identification, Mrs. Darti's body was then handed over to her family for burial in Bulupayung Village," said Ady.

The victim's husband, Taslim (66) said on Sunday he and his wife visited Darti's sister's house in Sokawera Village, Patikraja District, Banyumas, because they were from that village.

Taslim took this opportunity to visit some of his siblings, while Darti remained at his sister's house.

However, when Taslim returned to her sister's house at 14.00 WIB or 30 minutes after leaving, Darti was not at home.

Taslim along with a number of families and local residents tried to find Darti in the neighborhood until late at night, but was not found so they reported the incident to the Patikraja Police.
