Producer Admits Mistakes Putting Young Emma Watson At Harry Potter Reunion

JAKARTA - Producers of the special Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts event admits he made a mistake when he posted a photo of Emma Watson.

It all started with a fan who discovered that the photo of young Emma Watson at the event belonged to Emma Roberts. It turns out that Roberts had uploaded a photo wearing a Minnie Mouse ribbon.

At that time, Emma Watson recounted the early days when she was chosen as Hermione Granger. He claimed to have read the Harry Potter books since the first series.

In one segment, Emma Watson's narration is accompanied by several portraits of her childhood. One of the photos of a small child that turned out to be a photo of Emma Roberts as a child. Producers even labeled the photo as Emma Watson.

“Great catch Harry Potter fans! You found us a photo editing error. The new version will be uploaded soon," said the producer in an official statement, launching Deadline.

In addition, the photo of Oliver Phelps in the event was also confused with James Phelps. This mistake was shared by the actor via Instagram.

“I think after all these years of pranks, someone decided to take revenge. It feels fantastic to be a part of the HP reunion," said Phelps.

These two errors are currently being fixed by HBO and they will be uploading a new version of Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts via HBO Max and HBO Go.
