113 Honorary Personnel-PPNPN Contract Terminated Eijkman Who Now Joins BRIN
JAKARTA - The employment contracts of 113 temporary workers and non-civil servant government employees (PPNPN) did not continue after the Eijkman Institute for Molecular Biology joined the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
"There are 113 honorary staff and PPNPN, including 71 honorary researchers," said the Acting Head of the BRIN Molecular Biology Research Center (PRBME) Wien Kusharyoto, quoted by Antara, Monday, January 3.
Their work contracts as temporary workers and PPNPN at the Eijkman Institution expire as of December 31, 2021.
Meanwhile, a total of 17 ASN researchers from Eijkman joined BRIN.
Furthermore, the Eijkman Institute for Molecular Biology which joined BRIN changed its name to the Eijkman Molecular Biology Research Center.
Wien said that for those who have doctoral degrees, two people have been selected and accepted as candidates for the state civil apparatus (ASN) and one government employee with a work agreement (PPPK).
Wien said that the requirement to be accepted into BRIN as an ASN or PPPK is if you have obtained a doctoral degree.
Meanwhile, those who still hold S1 or S2 degrees can register at the university as research-based masters or doctoral students (by research), so that as active students they can be recruited as research assistants, with research and tuition fees borne by BRIN.
"There are those who will study masters or doctoral degrees abroad," said Wien
He said some of them have been accepted as research-based students, and recruitment as research assistants is ongoing.
"Registration as a research-based student follows the mechanism applied at the destination university, so the entire process, including recruitment as a research assistant, will continue in 2022," he said.
Therefore, their status is active research-based students, and their supervisors are from PRBM Eijkman, so that these students will conduct their research at PRBM Eijkman.
