SEVENTEEN's Woozi Performs Rock In First Solo Song, Ruby
JAKARTA - Woozi from the K-pop group SEVENTEEN released his first solo song, Ruby on Monday, January 3. The music video released on the same day featured Woozi shining on stage. The models walked around Woozi as Ruby echoed.
He also plays a guitar solo towards the end of the video. Ruby's songs which consist of various genres have made Woozi increasingly recognized as a reliable composer.
Ruby tells the expression of love for a woman. This guy can't stop thinking about the girl and changes himself slowly.
The song Ruby was written by Woozi with BUMZU, Park Ki Tae, and Building Owner. For the lyrics, Woozi also co-wrote with BUMZU and Shannon.
Ruby's release is projected to coincide with the photobook series The Thirteen Tapes. Previously, another SEVENTEEN member, Hoshi also released his photobook and solo song at the same time.
Ruby is SEVENTEEN's newest solo project. Besides Hoshi, several group members such as DK, Vernon, and Jeonghan also had the opportunity to release their solo songs.
Woozi himself is a producer for SEVENTEEN's hit songs and several other musicians such as Ailee and IOI. His ability to write songs is unquestionable and Ruby is proof of that.
