10 Narcotics Members Of Soekarno-Hatta Airport Police Transferred And Detained, Polda Metro: Under Investigation
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has transferred 10 members of the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Soekarno Hatta Airport Police. They were transferred for violations while on duty.
"Those who were transferred were transferred to Polda Metro Jaya as non-commissioned officers to Yanma and are being investigated for disciplinary violations," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Monday, January 3.
One of the 10 members who were transferred was AKP Nasrandy. He previously served as Head of Drugs at the Soetta Airport Police.
The position transfer was stated in the Secret Telegram Letter (STR) numbered ST/580/XII/KEP./2021. However, Zulpan did not clearly specify the form of the violation. So far, only said if the violation is related to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
"Regarding their duties in their field of duty, there are things that the SOP is not implemented. So they violate, deviate so that an inspection is carried out," said Zulpan.
On the other hand, Zulpan confirmed that 10 members had been detained for investigation.
"Currently they have been detained in the framework of the examination," said Zulpan.
