5 Prisoners And Detainees In Mojokerto Test Positive For COVID-19

Head of Mojokerto Class IIB Prison Wahyu Susetyo said the findings of the five prisoners and prisoners who tested positive for COVID-19 were known after his party conducted a rapid test.

As a follow-up to the incident, he said, the five people were isolated in the Mojokerto prison and separated from other prison residents.
"We have isolated the five people since the rapid reactive test. We gave them multivitamins and probiotics. Everything is in good condition and currently there are no complaints," he said.
He added that the transmission of the virus also occurred to 9 officers guarding the Mojokerto prison.
"They initially underwent a rapid test with the assisted residents on Thursday, August 13. Because the results were reactive, they were tested for swabs on Tuesday, August 18 and Wednesday, August 19. 9 of our officers tested positive for COVID-19 on Saturday, August 22 along with the results. Wahyu confirmed that the 9 employees of the Mojokerto prison were classified as people without symptoms (OTG). They were asked to undergo isolation for 15 days, from the time they were declared reactive on August 13 to August 28.
