JAKARTA - Realme has released its newest flagship smartphone in Indonesia, namely the X50 Pro 5G. Carrying the tagline 'Popularizer of Tech Trendsetters Lifestyle', Realme officially carries the first 5G flagship smartphone in Indonesia.

"Not only carrying flagship by welcoming the readiness of 5G networks around the world, we also bring a premium impression from the Realme X50 Pro 5G body," said Realme Indonesia Product Manager, Felix Christian at the online launch, Monday, August 24.

Performance is at the core of the flagship smartphone and Realme X50 Pro 5G uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 5G processor paired with an Adreno 650 GPU. This 7nm Octa-core processor with A77 performance core can reach clock speeds of up to 2.84GHz.

When compared to Snapdragon 855, both CPU and GPU, Snapdragon 865 5G is up to 25 percent faster, with AI that is also 2 times faster than the previous generation. In addition, Realme X50 Pro 5G is only equipped with a single RAM and memory, namely 12GB / 256GB.

Even though it only offers one RAM option and internal memory. Realme X50 Pro 5G adopts the latest storage media, namely LPDDR5 which is claimed to be 2x faster than the previous version - LPDDR4. Power consumption is also reduced by up to 20 percent.

For the screen, Realme X50 Pro 5G uses a Super AMOLED panel measuring 6.44 inches which has an aspect ratio of 20: 9 with a screen-to-body of up to 92 percent. This smartphone also supports a 90Hz refresh rate with a 180Hz touch sampling rate.

This display panel also supports HDR10 +, a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and has a maximum brightness of 1000nits and a maximum contrast ratio of 2000000: 1. There is also a dual punch hole on the left of the screen and a fingerprint scanner located on the screen.

The Realme X50 Pro 5G features a 64MP ultra-wide-angle quad camera on the back and dual cameras on the front. So a total of six cameras are on this smartphone and accommodate the Sony IMX616 32MP sensor and f / 2.0 aperture, as well as an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with f / 2.2 aperture which has a fairly wide image range of 105 degrees.

For the price in Indonesia, Realme X50 Pro 5G is sold at IDR 11,999,000. This makes the X50 Pro 5G the most expensive Realme cellphone sold for the Indonesian market.
