Police Explain Why Masher-nose Men Ordering Prostitution Artists Are Not Criminally Charged
JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya said that the customer of Cassandra Angelie was not charged with a crime. The reason is that sexual relations are considered private.
"Because what CA and its customers are doing is a private matter," said Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Monday, January 3.
So, said Zulpan, investigators could not apply the criminal article to the masher. In fact, the man was only considered a victim of the crime of prostitution.
"Where is it in our law. We cannot enter private areas," said Zulpan.
In fact, Zulpan also considered that Komnas Perempuan's statement that asked Cassandra and the philanderer to be charged with the Trafficking in Persons Law was too much. The reason is, in this case there is an element of privacy from both of them.
"I think it is too much for Komnas Perempuan to refer to the Human Trafficking Law or human trafficking because what the CA artist did in this case is a personal matter," said Zulpan.
Cassandra Angelie was arrested at a hotel in the Central Jakarta area. He was involved in online prostitution cases.
From the results of the examination, for one date, Cassandra Angelie charges Rp. 30 million.
Cassandra Angelie is said to have long been involved in a prostitution ring. To investigators, the soap opera actor admitted that he had five 'dates' with other people.
