Ciatt! Battalion 412 TNI Task Force Teaches Pencak Silat To Residents Of Lanny Jaya Papua
JAKARTA - Soldiers from the TNI Battalion Battalion MR 412/Kostrad teach the martial art of pencak silat at the Setia Hati Teratai Brotherhood (PSHT) to residents of Lanny Jaya Regency.
Commander of the Battalion 412/Kostrad Task Force Post, First Lieutenant Inf. Satria Buana Bhakti, in his official statement, said that the belt promotion test process for PSHT students in the Malagayneri District was carried out through the stages of the event, which was also witnessed by a number of community leaders and all residents around the Malagayneri Post.
"As a form of gratitude, the event was celebrated by holding a community stone burning tradition with members of the Malagayneri Post, located in the Malageyneri District, Lanny Jaya Regency," said Danpos Malagayneri First Lieutenant Inf. Satria Buana Bhakti was reported by Antara, Monday, January 3.
He said that in the belt promotion exam, students are expected to be able to absorb and understand both the meaning of the material for pencak silat and the teachings of Noble PSHT.
In addition to the belt promotion test, he said performances of traditional dances and Kuda Lumping as well as Papuan dances also enlivened the cultural arts collaboration event.
"This is displayed so that people see that Indonesia has a variety of interesting cultures. Then to add to the excitement of the event, we also hold an arrow competition for the surrounding community," said Satria.
Meanwhile, a community leader from the Malagayneri District, Gudi Kogoya, said that the increase in the belt made the children in the village more enthusiastic in training because they had been given a silat martial arts belt.
