The First Day Of Novel Baswedan Cs Work At Dittipidkor Polri, New Place With Old Taste
JAKARTA - Former senior investigator of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Novel Baswedan and 43 former KPK employees officially entered work as State Civil Apparatus (ASN) of the National Police. How is the work environment?
Yudi Purnomo, former Chair of the KPK Employee Forum, shared information about the activities of the 44 former Polri ASN through the 'whatsapp' message.
"Yes, that's right (started work-ed). And we are ready to carry out assignments in the context of eradicating corruption," Yudi said as quoted by Antara, Monday, January 3.
On the first day of work at the National Police, he and his colleagues were greeted in a friendly and kind manner by the Director of Corruption Crimes of the Indonesian National Police and the ranks of the National Police.
"I know and are familiar with some of them, because they worked together in investigating corruption when they were at the KPK," Yudi wrote, sharing his WhatsApp status.
Yudi also said the first day of duty with a new spirit against corruption in the country.
"There is no deterrent in the struggle," said Yudi.
Novel emphasized their commitment to realizing the target of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) in carrying out the task of preventing corruption.
"As for the targets, all of them are from the National Police. We don't do it from a personal or group perspective, we do it (based on, ed.) from an institutional perspective," said Novel Baswedan.
He and other colleagues are still adjusting and studying in more detail what they should do to improve performance in the field of corruption prevention.
"We are given the task to carry out the tasks of preventing corruption. What the pattern will be like, this is being discussed," he said.
Yudi and 43 other former KPK employees were inaugurated as National Police ASN on December 9, 2021. Furthermore, the 44 ASN Police attended the Police administration briefing and education period in Bandung for two weeks.
Previously, National Police Chief Gen. Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo in a year-end release at the National Police Headquarters, Jakarta, Friday (31/12) said that the recruitment of 44 former KPK employees to become National Police ASN is one of the National Police's efforts to eradicate corruption.
The National Police will also develop the Directorate of Corruption Crimes into the Corruption Eradication Corps (Kortas), which will strengthen the field of preventing and recovering state losses.
"We will develop it, moreover we have recruited 44 former KPK, this is our commitment to strengthen the corruption eradication division in the Polri institution, especially in the field of preventing and recovering state losses," said Sigit.
