To The Ministry Of Religion's ASN, Minister Yaqut: Make Religion An Inspiration, As A Motivator
JAKARTA - Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas reminded employees in his ministry to use religion as a source of inspiration. This was conveyed by Yaqut during the commemoration of the 76th Charity Day of the Ministry of Religion.
"Make religion an inspiration. Make religion a driving force that can increase creativity," said Yaqut while leading the ceremony, Jakarta, Antara, Monday, January 3.
Yaqut also asked employees to make the five values of the Ministry of Religion's work culture, namely integrity, professionalism, innovation, responsibility, and example as attitudes. He believes that if all employees adhere to the five values, ASN in the Ministry of Religion will appear as extraordinary state servants.
"The five of them are an integral part in carrying out your duties and functions as State Civil Apparatus Employees of the Ministry of Religion," he said.
On the other hand, Yaqut also pushed for the transformation of people's services as soon as possible. This transformation includes services that are fast and easy to perform and accessible to the public.
"The transformation in question includes changes in attitudes and better behavior in providing services to the community as well as improving facilities and infrastructure or infrastructure that accelerates and facilitates the performance of the Ministry of Religion in providing services to the community," said the Minister of Religion.
On the commemoration of HAB 2022, Yaqut gave the Satyalancana Karya Satya award to 9,310 civil servants of the Ministry of Religion from 79 Work Units who were considered to have served flawlessly as state servants.
This number consists of 509 Satyalancana Karya Satya Award winners for 30 years, 2,802 people for 20 years of service, and 5,999 Ministry of Religion civil servants with 10 years of service.
The Minister of Religion also conveyed the Corruption Free Area (WBK) award for the Ministry of Religion of Salatiga City and MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong Banteng. Then symbolically handed over the Professor's Decree to Prof. Dr. Marzuki (Professor of UIN Datokarama Palu) and Prof. Dr. Ngainun Naim (Professor of UIN Sayyid Ali Rahmatyllah Tulungagung).
After the ceremony, the Minister of Religion made a pilgrimage to the graves of several former Ministers of Religion at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery, Jakarta.
