There Is A Tennis Ball Outside The Walls Of The Semarang Class I Prison, It Turns Out That It Contains Crystal Methamphetamine
JAKARTA - Semarang Class I prison officers found 58.79 grams of crystal methamphetamine which was smuggled by throwing it from outside the prison walls on Saturday, January 1 night.
Head of Semarang Prison Supriyanto in a press release in Semarang, said the discovery began when officers carried out a mobile patrol in the area between the residential block and the outermost wall of the prison.
"While traveling around, officers found two tennis balls in the bushes," he said.
Officers then seized two tennis balls, which was followed by a report to the police.
Supriyanto instructed prison officials not to open the two tennis balls before the police arrived.
After officers from the Semarang Polrestabes arrived, he said, the two tennis balls were opened and 10 small plastic clips containing methamphetamine were found.
"After weighing 58.79 grams," he said.
The illicit goods, he continued, were then handed over to the police for further investigation.
Supriyanto emphasized that Semarang Prison is ready to synergize with the police to combat narcotics trafficking.
