Erick Thohir Claims To Fulfill Target Of 15 Percent Of SOE Directors Positions Filled With Women
JAKARTA - Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir claims to have succeeded in realizing the gender equality target by placing 15 percent of the directors of state-owned companies for women. This target is part of the transformation of human capital within the SOEs.
"Outside of programs that are corporate business, the Ministry of SOEs is also transforming human capital. It is recorded that during 2021 the Ministry of SOEs succeeded in realizing the gender equality target, namely 15 percent of SOE directors' positions have been occupied by women," he said, in Jakarta, Saturday, January 1 .
In addition, said Erick, the Ministry of SOEs has also proven to be an ideal place for millennials. The target of 5 percent of SOE leadership seats led by young people can be realized. This breakthrough in human capital is clearly a breath of fresh air and a new atmosphere that has never been seen before in SOEs.
"Another important thing, the Ministry of SOEs is able to show a high commitment to the implementation of good corporate governance, supports the creation of transparency and accountability. Therefore, from the beginning, I have continued to emphasize on Ahklak as our core as public officials, so that our loyalty, integrity and commitment to the country always comes first," he said.
