Attorney General: Justice-Seeking Community Services Remain Served

JAKARTA - Attorney General ST Burhanuddin has ensured that the Attorney General's services will remain normal even though the main building has been burned down. Some of the AGO's employees are currently moving temporary offices to the AGO's Education and Training Agency in Ragunan, South Jakarta.

However, Burhanuddin emphasized that the workplace relocation would not affect services to the community.

"All public services for justice seekers are still being served. We are still working even though yesterday's building was used up for the main building," said Attorney General Burhanuddin to reporters, Monday, August 24.

Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General and Junior Attorney General Coaching and their staff occupy building A of the training.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Attorney General for Intelligence (Jamintel) and his staff are based in building B in Ceger, East Jakarta.

Although working in separate conditions, Burhanuddin said his staff were working effectively as usual. Coordination with the District Prosecutor's Office is said to be going well.

"The work of friends in the regions is smooth. Earlier we had a teleconference for the implementation of work, because this should not be disturbed by any incident," he said.

"We don't exist per shift, we are working on it. We've divided the rooms. Only the seats are arranged, "he added.

Previously, Kapuspenkum at the AGO, Hari Setiyono, dismissed the speculation over the alleged AGO building fire, which was accused of being deliberate and linked to the case of prosecutor Pinangki Sirna Malasari.

"Being suspicious is fine, but there must be a basis. Those who say it does not know about this building, the building does not store case files. Suspicious if it is not supported by evidence, sorry to be slander," said Hari.

Hari emphasized that there was no connection between the fire incident and the case being handled, referring to the burning building. Because the fire, according to him, did not burn the room that held the case files for the Pinangki prosecutor.

"I have repeatedly explained that the building is in the field of guidance, intelligence sector, Attorney General, Deputy Attorney General. (Meanwhile) Case files in the Pidsus area are quite far away safe, do not burn. General criminal acts where in the general criminal field the distance is sufficient. far away, "said Hari.
