Walkot Bima Arya: 100 Percent Vaccination Of Bogor City Thanks To Dream Team Formation

BOGOR - Bogor Mayor Bima Arya Sugiarto revealed that the achievement of 100 percent dose one vaccination in his area by the end of 2021 was the hard work of the regional leadership communication forum (Forkopimda) with the formation of a dream team.

"This formation is a dream team. We are lucky to have an extraordinary team, Mr. Police Chief who is full of innovation, Mr. Dandim is easy to mix and wants to go to the field any time, Kajari too," said Bima in Bogor City, quoted by Antara, Friday, December 31. .

Bima said that the vaccination achievement of Bogor City had actually reached 100.04 percent, so that communal immunity or herd immunity in the area may have already been established.

Communal ignorance can be a year-end gift for the rainy city, said Bima, because some residents who have been exposed to COVID-19 and recovered, as well as residents who have carried out vaccinations.

"According to the survey, our residents like to help and like to help, so we remind each other to take the vaccine," he said.

According to him, throughout 2021 the spread of COVID-19 provided an extraordinary experience for the City of Bogor.

Moreover, he was also exposed to the COVID-19 disease, which was quarantined at the Bogor City Hospital until he recovered.

Then, the surge in positive patients for the infectious disease in June-July 2021 made the beds in hospitals full, oxygen cylinder crises and so on created a shared panic.

In those two months, he continued, in a day there had reached 800 positive people and 20 people died with the status of being exposed to COVID-19.

"The year 2021 will be very difficult, July-June is the most critical. But we are able to get through it with the cohesiveness of everyone, the residents, the COVID-19 Task Force," he said.

Bima invites residents to be grateful for the achievement of this one dose vaccination, considering that the neighboring city of Bogor, Bogor Regency, has not yet reached 100 percent due to its large area.

"The regent of Bogor, Ms. Ade Yasin, still has to fight, there are other areas too. We must support and help so that it can be completed quickly," he said.
