Rows Of Foreign Players Who Leave Club 1 For Renegotiation Of Contracts
JAKARTA - The decision of the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) regarding the renegotiation of the contract has started eating "victims". There are clubs whose coaches and players have to leave because they do not agree with the club about the new contract value.
Call it Arema FC, who was left by coach Mario Gomez. The former Persib Bandung coach refused to renegotiate the contract with Singo Edan's management. He also chose to move to Borneo FC.
Apart from Mario Gomez, Arema FC is also left behind by Jonathan Baumann. The reason is the same, refusing to renegotiate the contract as decided by PSSI. However, Baumann had not yet decided on his future.
Arema FC foreign player who also left due to contract renegotiation is In Kyun-Oh. This South Korean player then decided to hang up his shoes after decades of working in Indonesian football.
Apart from Arema FC, Persela Lamongan also has to bite the fingers left by foreign players due to contract renegotiation. Rafael Gomes de Olivera or familiarly called Rafinha has said goodbye via his Instagram account.
"Joining the Persela family brings happiness to me. We go through difficult times but we never give up on achieving our goals. I say goodbye to Persela with pride for all the achievements that have been achieved," said Rafinha in his Instagram account, @ rafael_doubleface.
Chances are, there are foreign players from other Liga 1 clubs who will follow in their footsteps. The problem is believed to be the same, disagreeing with the contract renegotiation regulations issued by PSSI.
