Anies Visits Jakarta International Stadium Enjoy The Last Sunset Of 2021

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan visited the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) while enjoying the last sunset of 2021.

"From a height of 72 meters from the peak of JIS, witnessing the final dusk of 2021," said Anies through the @aniesbaswedan account, quoted by Antara, Friday, December 31.

Through his personal official Instagram account, the Governor of DKI inspected the construction of the JIS "sky deck".

On that occasion, the former Minister of Education and Culture was accompanied by his wife, Fery Farhati.

Wearing a plaid shirt with a green vest, Anies was seen wearing a construction helmet and climbing the stairs to the highest point in JIS.

Above that height, Anies also took the time to take a selfie with several construction workers who were rushing to finalize the international-class stadium.

Previously, on a separate occasion, the President Director of PT Jakarta Propertindo (Jakpro) Widi Amanasto said that the construction of JIS had reached around 92 percent.

"It's 92 percent," said Widi when he visited the location of the Formula E track at Taman Impian Jaya Ancol, Wednesday (29/12).

The plan, he continued, is that the "soft launching" of JIS will be carried out in February 2022.

Previously, the initial launch of JIS was scheduled for December 11, as well as the final match of the International Youth Championship (IYC) 2021,

However, it was postponed due to the outbreak of a new variant of COVID-19, namely the Omicron virus.
