Building C Ministry Of Agriculture Lockdown After 17 Employees Test Positive For COVID-19

JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health (PKH) of the Ministry of Agriculture (Kementan) has carried out a lockdown or closure of entry and exit at Building C of the Ministry of Agriculture, Ragunan which is their workplace. This policy was taken after a number of PKH Directorate General employees tested positive for COVID-19.

In the report of the acting director (Plt) of Sesditjen PKH Makmun received by VOI, it was stated that there were 17 PKH employees who tested positive for COVID-19 based on the results of the swab test scattered on all floors. So, all employees under the PKH Directorate General do not come to work from 24 to 26 August.

"It was announced to all employees of the PKH Directorate General that Monday-Wednesday, August 24 to 26. Building C, floors 6 to 9 will be locked down to carry out disinfection of all rooms and pickup cars of the Directorate General of PKH as well as all employees for Swab to be tested on PCR," quoted from the report, Monday, August 24.

Based on this report, employees whose PCR results are positive have also been carried out and will undergo self-isolation and other treatment according to the severity of the disease.

"As well as reporting the progress of the disease every day to direct superiors and superiors directly reporting to Plt. Sesditjen PKH," he explained.

During the lockdown, said Makmun, all employees carried out WFH and were obliged to report it in accordance with the Circular in relation to WFH.

In addition, employees who test negative for COVID-19 based on the PCR results can carry out Meeting Activities outside the office or the Office of Outside Offices while still strictly implementing the COVID-19 Protocol.
