BABEL - The Tanjung Pandan TPI Class II Immigration Office, the Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Bangka Belitung Islands Province, detained two citizens (WN) from Pakistan, namely, TR (31) and AA (24) for disturbing residents.
"We are holding the two foreigners in the Tanjung Pandan Immigration Detention Room," said Head of the TPI Tanjung Pandan Class II Immigration Office, Suyatno, in Tanjung Pandan, Antara, Friday, December 31.
According to him, the two foreigners from Pakistan were detained by Tanjung Pandan Immigration Office officers on Saturday, December 25 in the East Belitung area.
Based on reports, the two Pakistani foreigners are known to have carried out sales of Al-Qur'ans and then asked for donations at the mosque.
"If the information we get is that they ask for donations with a little coercion, there are four assemblies that they go to to ask for donations," he said.
They are still studying how the donation can be used for anything, including the flow. "We are still conducting further investigations," he said.
He said that currently the Tanjung Pandan Immigration office officer is checking the completeness of the immigration documents owned by the two foreigners to determine the decision on the immigration administrative action to be imposed.
"If you look at the immigration law, there are several immigration administrative actions such as deportation or requiring them to be in certain areas and suspensions," he said.
