Hospital Management Dr. Kariadi Semarang Ensures MRI Service Continues After The Fire
SEMARANG - Management of the Central General Hospital (RSUP) Dr. Kariadi Semarang ensured that magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services would continue to run after a fire engulfed the room at the oncology installation, Thursday, December 30.
"For MRI services, there are still other tools so that the service will maximize these tools," said a spokesman for Dr. RSUP. Kariadi Semarang Parna in Semarang quoted from Antara, Friday, December 31.
The burning MRI room is located next to the Kasuari Building which is an integrated cancer service building that specifically provides outpatient and inpatient services for cancer patients.
The patient services at the Kasuari Building, he said, were temporarily moved to the Garuda Pavilion.
As many as 50 inpatients and outpatients from the Kasuari Building have also been transferred to the Garuda Pavilion due to the fire last night.
Previously, it was reported that the fire engulfed the complex of RSUP Dr. Kariadi Semarang, Thursday night. The starting point of the fire is thought to have started from the MRI room, which is on the west side of the Kasuari Building, Dr. RSUP. Kariadi.
