Police Arrest 5 'We Have Guts' Motorcycle Gang Members Who Killed Residents Of Deli Serdang, North Sumatra

MEDAN - Police officers arrested five perpetrators of a brawl between motorcycle gangs that killed a resident with the initials D (53) in Kelambir V, Tanjung Gusta Village, Sunggal District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra.

The Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sunggal Police, AKP Budiman Simanjuntak, named the five suspects with the initials AT (26), RH (18), MESD (17), P (17), and R (18).

He stated that the five suspects arrested were members of the KPN motorcycle gang or We Have Guts.

"The five of them were separately arrested by the police in Medan City," he said, quoted by Antara, Thursday, December 30.

For their actions, the five suspects were charged with Article 170 paragraph (2) to 3e subsidiary Article 351 paragraph (3) in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code, with a maximum penalty of 12 years in prison.

Budiman said that his party is still pursuing the other perpetrators involved in the incident.

"Five other suspects are still being sought," he said.

Previously, clashes occurred between two groups of motorcycle gangs on Jalan Kelambir V, Tanjung Gusta Village, Deli Serdang Regency on Sunday, December 26, which resulted in the death of a local resident.

The victim with the initials D died after being stabbed in the body and head while trying to break up the brawl.
