Dr Kariadi Hospital Semarang Fires, Patients Evacuated

SEMARANG - A fire broke out at the Dr Kariadi Hospital, Semarang, Central Java. The fire broke out in the Kasuari building, the medical record room.

The fire was reported to have occurred around 18.50 WIB. From the information obtained, all patients in the Kasuari building have now been evacuated by employees of the Kariadi Hospital Semarang, assisted by the police.

Currently, about 8 fire engines in the city of Semarang are still putting out the fire. The hotspots came from the Medical Record Room (RMI) which were suspected to have been caused by an electrical short circuit.

"For 31 patients from the Kasuari building, they have been evacuated at the Garuda building," according to reports received by journalists.

The first to know about the fire incident was Mr. Fahri is a security guard in the MRI cassowary room.
