Prosecutors Call The Rape Case Of Dozens Of Santri A Planned Crime Defendant HW

BANDUNG - Head of the West Java High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) Asep N Mulyana said the rape case against a dozen students with the defendant HW was suspected to be a premeditated crime.

According to him, the rape of a number of students by HW was allegedly carried out in stages and there was an element of psychological threat so that the defendant's wishes could be followed by the victims.

"According to the expert's statement, it was by design, so it was not an incidental act that the person simply did," said Asep after becoming public prosecutor for the HW immoral case at the Bandung District Court, West Java, Thursday, December 30.

He said HW did this by luring the victims with facilities, so that the defendant slowly influenced the victims.

Asep assessed that the actions carried out by HW were extraordinary crimes, because their actions not only had an impact on the victim, but also had an impact on social unrest.

HW is also suspected of causing the victims, including his wife, to experience psychological disorders so that they do not dare to report what they experienced.

"There is a term that the brain function is damaged, not the condition of the brain is damaged, but the brain function is damaged," he said.

HW was charged with raping 13 female students. His disgraceful actions caused the victims to experience pregnancy and childbirth.

HW was charged with carrying out the action between 2016 and 2021. He is said to have carried out the action in a number of places, from Islamic boarding schools to lodging such as hotels and apartments.
