Therefore, the government has campaigned to use electric vehicles (EV) as the main transportation.

According to him, this step supports the target of reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 29 percent by 2030, according to the commitments at the climate change summit in Paris. Currently, the government is preparing the G20 infrastructure including vehicles that will be used by the delegates using EVs.

"This is the government's first step in launching a comprehensive use of electric motor vehicles in 2060. The government also targets the G20 Summit to be a showcase for the use of cars as well as one of the symbols and main themes of the G20, namely the transition to clean energy," said Bamsoet.
