Samsung Reveals The Technology It Will Bring At CES 2022

JAKARTA - This year Samsung introduced a series of C-Lab incubator projects at the IoT event, CES 2022. With its work, the company aims to get customer responses and get better ideas.

It's ZamStar, which is a combination guitar and app designed to make collaboration and learning easier.

Not only that, Samsung is also bringing other important projects including AI solutions to help children develop good smartphone use habits and technology that allows early detection of infant strabismus (cross-eye).

Curious what Samsung projects are and how they are useful to us? Check it out below.

Launching Engadget, Thursday, December 30, ZamStar consists of an application and a special guitar called ZamString. Samsung gives users the opportunity to play a part on a guitar, add effects, and then sync it with other musicians around the world.

This is definitely the trend for music collaboration on TikTok when the COVID-19 pandemic was at its peak earlier this year. The idea, of course, is to make music synchronization easier.

Meanwhile, ZamString guitars have a fretboard that lights up via input from a song, making it easy to determine where the user should place their finger. This guitar isn't a new concept, but it's probably the first to marry AI and collaboration.

Then there's Piloto, which Samsung calls an AI solution that can help kids develop proper smartphone usage habits. The goal is to teach children self-regulation skills on smart devices to help them make good choices.

Lastly, there is Innovision is a daily life eye care system with nursery phones to catch suspicious symptoms of strabismus and monitor the development status of visual abilities for babies.

All of these projects will be showcased at CES 2022. So far, it seems that Samsung is still planning to attend the event and has not followed in the footsteps of other exhibitors such as Google, Lenovo, Intel, Amazon, Meta, AMD, and T-Mobile who have pulled out.
