Ancol, TMII, And Ragunan Limited Open During New Year's Holiday

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has opened Ancol Dreamland, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, and Ragunan Wildlife Park, with a maximum capacity of 75 percent of visitors starting at 09.00-15.00 WIB during the New Year holiday, December 31, 2021 to January 1, 2022.

"Though the three tourist sites are open, celebrations are still not allowed," said Head of the Supervision and Control Section of the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Iffan, in Jakarta, as reported by Antara, Thursday, December 30.

The head of the DKI Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Andhika Permata, outlined the regulations for the limited opening of the three tourist attractions through Decree (SK) Number 789 of 2021 which changed the previous SK number 761 of 2021 concerning PPKM level one in the tourism business sector.

The provision also regulates the time limit for selling entrance tickets on D-1 and based on applications.

In addition to the three tourist attractions that are open, the DKI Provincial Government has also opened limited museums in the Old City area, namely the Jakarta History Museum, Puppet Museum, and the Museum of Fine Arts and Ceramics. Then, the Bank Mandiri Museum, the Bank Indonesia Museum, the 3D Art Museum, and the Maritime Museum. The museum is also open with a maximum capacity of 75 percent and operating hours start from 09.00-15.00 WIB, with the deadline for ticket sales until 13.00 WIB.

Managers of three tourist sites and museums, are asked to provide announcements or information to visitors to vacate the area starting at 14.00 WIB.

Then, visitors and workers must be vaccinated as a condition to enter the three tourist attractions.

Unlike the three tourist attractions and museums, the DKI Provincial Government has closed the Setu Babakan Betawi Cultural Village and Fatahilah Park Kota Tua from 31 December 2021 to 1 January 2022.
