JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) applies a new tariff for rapid antigen test services at stations as of January 1, 2022. Previously, the antigen tariff was Rp. 45 thousand to Rp. 35 thousand.

"The adjustment of the antigen rapid test rate is one form of improving KAI's services to customers during the 2022 New Year holiday," said KAI VP of Public Relations Joni Martinus in a statement monitored in Jakarta, Antara, Thursday, December 30.

The new fare applies to 83 stations. Joni said that KAI continues to urge customers to complete the requirements for boarding the train during Christmas and New Year, one of which is a rapid antigen test for customers over 12 years old.

In the period 17-29 December 2021, KAI has rejected 22,576 customers because they have not completed the requirements, with details of 9,628 no PCR for those under 12 years old, 8,983 no rapid antigen test, 3,864 no first or second dose vaccine, 96 sick, and 5 don't bring a mask.

"With the increasingly affordable price, it is hoped that prospective customers can take advantage of this service in completing the requirements according to the applicable health protocol," said Joni.

He revealed that the presence of the rapid antigen test service at the station was the result of a BUMN synergy between KAI and Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia through its subsidiary, Rajawali Nusindo, Indofarma through its subsidiary, Farmalab, and other parties.

There are 83 stations that serve the Antigen Rapid Test, namely Pasar Senen, Gambir, Bekasi, Cikampek, Karawang, Bandung, Kiaracondong, Tasikmalaya, Banjar, Purwakarta, Cimahi, Cipendeuy, Ciamis, Cirebon, Cirebon Prujakan, Jatibarang, Babakan, Brebes, Haurgeulis stations. , Pegadenbaru, Semarang Tawang, Semarang Poncol, Tegal, Cepu, Ngrombo, Pemalang, Pekalongan, Weleri, Purwokerto.

Train tickets for the Christmas and New Year 2022 period can be ordered by the public through the KAI Access application, the KAI website, and all other official KAI ticket sales channels.
