BMKG Weather Forecast: Some Areas Of Indonesia Are Showered With Moderate Intensity Rain

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that some areas in Indonesia will experience moderate rain on Thursday. According to BMKG data quoted by ANTARA on the www.bmkg.go.id page, Thursday, the area that will experience moderate intensity rain is Denpasar , Serang, Banjarmasin, Bandar Lampung, Kupang and Manado.

The areas that are expected to experience light rain are Banda Aceh, Jambi, Bandung, Semarang, Palangkaraya, Pangkal Pinang, Tanjung Pinang, Ambon, Mataram and Kendari.

As for Manokwari, BMKG appealed to be alert to heavy rain which will be accompanied by lightning and thunder.

Furthermore, BMKG said, there are also areas that have the potential for cloudy weather. Such as DI Yogyakarta, Gorontalo, Surabaya, Pontianak, Ternate, Pekanbaru, Mamuju, Makassar and Palembang.

Meanwhile, Bengkulu, DKI Jakarta, Tarakan, Samarinda, Jayapura, Padang and Medan are forecasted to experience sunny cloudy weather. It is also said that the high temperature in big cities will reach between 19 and 34 degrees Celsius. Then the humidity level will range from 60 to 100 percent.
