Fishermen's Confessions Find Objects Similar To Orange Tanks In Bintan Waters

BINTAN - Fisherman from Air Glubi Village, Bintan, Riau Islands (Kepri), Jay admitted that he found objects similar to tanks or combat vehicles floating in the waters of Buruan Island.

"At that time I was fishing, around 08.00 WIB," said Jay in Bintan, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, December 29. Jay saw the object floating about 200 meters from its position. He then ventured closer to the object, although with a feeling of a little panic.

After that, he decided to drag the orange object to the shore with the help of his wooden cocoon.

"I immediately reported the finding of this object to the village head, then it was forwarded to the Indonesian Navy," said Jay.

Meanwhile, the East Bintan Police Chief AKP Suardi said that the object has now been evacuated to the Navy Observer Post (Posmat) in Kijang for further investigation.

This tank-like object was previously found in Natuna waters in mid-December 2021. It is suspected that the object was carried away by currents into the waters of Bintan.
