JAKARTA - Prof. Dr. KH Muhammad Sirajuddin Syamsuddin, MA or Din Syamsuddin is a Muslim scholar born in Sumbawa, West Nusa Tenggara. An academic figure from the Islamic organization, Muhammadiyah. 3. Muslim scholars.Din Syamsuddin likens himself to a Muslim scholar. He became one of the intellectuals and central administrators of the ICMI (Indonesian Muslim Intellectual Association) in the 90s.
Din Syamsuddin is a graduate of the Interdepartmental Program in Islamic Studies at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), United States. His interest in academics was also followed by a Master of Art (MA) as the basic capital of education. In fact, he earned a doctorate at the same university in 1996.

6. Married the cousin of the late wife.Din Syamsuddin became the only figure who led Muhammadiyah for 2 consecutive terms.
After the death of his wife, Fira Beranata, due to a heart attack, Din was a widower for eight months. Din then married a woman named Novalinda Jonafrianty. Novalinda was a widow with three children. Novalinda is also known to be a cousin of the late Fira.
From their first marriage, Din and Fira were blessed with two sons and a daughter. They are Farazahadi Fidiansyah, Mihra Dildari, and Fiardhi Farzanggi.
7. Muslim delegations on an international stage.Din Syamsuddin's actions often represent Muslims in the global interfaith arena. In 2017, Din was appointed as the President's Special Envoy for Dialogue and Cooperation Between Religions and Civilizations. The term moderate Islam.Moderate Islam is a term introduced by Din Syamsuddin during the High Level Consultation (Summit) of World Muslim Scholars and Scholars on 1–3 May 2018 at the Bogor Presidential Palace.
