Firm! Sepatan Police Chief Involved In Narcotics Removed By Polda Metro Jaya

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya has removed AKP (previously written Kompol) Oky Bekti Wibowo as Sepatan Police Chief. This dismissal is related to the narcotics case involving him.

"The person concerned has been removed from office today," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan to reporters, Wednesday, December 29.

The removal was stated in the Telegram Letter (ST) number ST/588/XII/KEP./2021. Where, in the ST, AKP Oky was transferred to Pama Yanma Polda Metro Jaya for examination.

Meanwhile, the position of the Sepatan Police Chief will be held by AKP Suyatno. He previously served as Deputy Kapolsek Karawaci.

"Then AKP Suyatno's new position was appointed as the Sepatan Police Chief," said Zulpan. Previously, Sepatan Police Chief AKP Oky Bekti was reportedly arrested for being involved in a narcotics case. Currently, the case has been transferred to the Merto Jaya Regional Police.

"Yes, that's right (arrested, ed)," said the Head of Public Relations of the Tangerang Metro Police, Kompol Abdul Rachim.
