JAKARTA - A white 2014 Honda Beat motorcycle with the number F 5570 BA belonging to an employee was stolen by a thief. The theft was caught on CCTV cameras around the location.
The incident occurred when the victim named Novita parked her motorbike in front of her house in Gang Haji Toyan, RT 06/07, Pondok Kopi Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta.
According to Novita's confession, usually the motorbike is inserted into the house which is about 30 meters from where the motorbike is lost. However, because she wanted to reuse it, Novita temporarily parked her motorbike in front of the alley fence of her house.
"If you want to go back to work, you have to go outside. If you don't go back, go inside," said Novita at the location, Wednesday, December 29.
When he came home from work, the victim did not feel that he was being followed by the perpetrators of the motorcycle theft.
"The perpetrators were two people around the age of 20. The perpetrator shifted the motorbike about 10 meters from the parking location to turn it on. There was no sound from inside the house because it was far away," he said.
This is the first time this motorcycle theft has occurred in the area. From the results of on-site monitoring, the situation at the crime scene (TKP) looks deserted during the day. Although quiet, there are CCTV surveillance cameras installed by the local RT.
"Honda Beat motorcycle. The handlebars were locked while parking. The perpetrators came from there and continued to come down here and then stopped near the CCTV. One perpetrator was waiting on the motorbike he was driving, while another perpetrator took it. It took about 5 minutes," said the victim. .
The suspect fled and ran into the victim's child. The victim had chased but to no avail.
"At the time of the incident there were two motorbikes parked. There was an RX King hope but only my beat motorbike was taken," he said.
The victim has reported the theft of the motorbike to the Duren Sawit Police Headquarters.
