Judge Sentences 3 Defendants To Persecution Of Nakes One Month In Prison

BANDARLAMPUNG - The Panel of Judges of the Class IA District Court (PN) Tanjungkarang, Bandarlampung sentenced three defendants to prison for persecuting health workers (nakes) for one month.

"It has been proven legally and convincingly guilty of committing violence. With that, the three defendants were sentenced to one month's sentence," said the head of the panel of judges, Fitri Ramadhan, in the trial at Tanjungkarang District Court, Bandarlampung, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, December 28.

In the verdict handed down, the thing that relieves the three defendants is that they regret their actions and have never been punished before.

The verdict is lighter than the prosecutor's request, which previously demanded that the three defendants be jailed for two months each.

On this decision, the legal adviser for the three defendants, Sujarwo, expressed his thoughts. In addition, the public prosecutor (JPU) Eka Aftarini also expressed his thoughts.

"Regarding this, we expressed our thoughts," he said.

Previously, the Public Prosecutor of the Bandarlampung District Attorney's Office (Kejari) Eka Aftarini demanded three defendants of persecuting the health workers of the Kedaton Health Center, Bandarlampung for two months in prison.

According to the prosecutor, in this case, the mitigating factor was that the health officer did not carry out his function as intended.

Meanwhile, the aggravating thing is that the actions of the three defendants caused injuries to health workers.
