Football Federation Chairman Who Doesn't Respect Football Rules Is Not Good For Football

JAKARTA - The chairman of the All-Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Mochamad Iriawan plans to enter the national team's dressing room ahead of the second leg of the 2020 AFF Cup final against Thailand. Iwan Bule's plan - Iriawan's nickname - was protested. The head of the football federation who does not know the rules of football is considered a danger to football.

The plan was conveyed by Iwan Bule when talking with two national team players, Evan Dimas and Asnawi Mangkualam via video call. At that time, Evan and Asnawi asked about Iwan Bule's plans to come to Singapore where the match was being held.

"I went there on the 31st (Singapore)," said Iwan Bule.

"I'm trying to get down to the changing room (locker room). I have permission to go to AFF," he added.

This plan was protested by the Indonesian football public. The majority questioned the reason why Iwan Bule wanted to enter the players' locker room. Others are worried that Iwan Bule's entry into the dressing room will have a bad effect on the national team and Indonesian football.

"Well, things started to get weird. What did I say. Things like this can break the concentration of players. Don't you remember what was in 2010? It's better to let the players focus on the final match. If necessary, coach STY asks all players to be off social media together any news. This is getting more and more people looking for the stage," wrote the account @xvenantx.

Another account, @buluperinduh, wrote: What can I do, sir? If the reason is to motivate and encourage, are you the General Chairperson of PSSI or cheerleaders?

"Do you understand the rules of football, don't you? Oh, how come you can be the General Manager of PSSI, lohhh. You can't enter while the game isn't over yet. If the match is over, whether it's a winner or not, you can only enter that way, " protested @indomigoreng_.
