PGN Maintains Natural Gas Services To Customers During Christmas And New Year
JAKARTA - State Gas Company (PGN) as Pertamina Gas Subholding is committed to maintaining the infrastructure network, supply and natural gas services during the 2021 Christmas and 2022 New Year holidays.
PGN Director of Sales and Operations Faris Aziz said the condition of assets, networks and natural gas supply was ensured in a safe condition for all customer sectors.
"To maintain the balance of gas supply and demand, the PGN Group will optimize the arrangement of the operating pattern from suppliers first by integrating pipeline and non-pipeline CNG and LNG infrastructure," Faris said in a statement in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Tuesday, December 28.
With the Sales Operation Region (SOR) which is divided into three operating areas in Sumatra, West and East Java, North Kalimantan, and Sorong, PGN's services will continue to be on standby, while running a continuous monitoring and control scheme.
"From our monitoring, the gas balance of each area or region can change according to customer needs and gas availability. For this reason, PGN also anticipates opportunities for increased demand for natural gas, especially from power plants," added Faris.
He further said that if customers or the public experience problems or need further information about PGN's products and services, they can contact the Call Center at 1500 645 or email contact.center@pgn.co.id.
In addition, the public can also contact the nearest sales area to speed up handling, if they experience problems using natural gas.
The availability and security of gas distribution is a priority for the PGN Group so that all customer segments can enjoy more tangible benefits from natural gas.
"At this moment, it is hoped that we can contribute to the success of the role of the Christmas and New Year Task Force in providing the best service," concluded Faris.
