Increases By 93 People, The Number Of COVID-19 Patients At The Athlete's Home Becomes 581 People

JAKARTA - A total of 581 patients who were confirmed positive for Covid-19 are still being treated at the Wisma Atlet Kemayoran Emergency Hospital, Jakarta, until Tuesday, December 28.

"The number of patients has increased by 93," said Marine Colonel Aris Mudian, the head of information for the TNI's Joint Defense Region I Command.

He explained that the number of patients under treatment on Monday, December 27 was 488 people. Patients who entered came from the DKI Jakarta area.

He explained that the Covid-19 patients were being treated in Towers 5 and 6. The patients were being treated with mild symptoms. RSDC Wisma Atlet has 7,894 rooms, minus 4,700 rooms in Towers 4 and 7 that are not used, so the number of beds available is approximately 2,613, of which 581 are used by Covid-19 patients.

For the recapitulation of patients from 23 March 2020 to 28 December 2021, a total of 130,152 patients were registered. Where 129,571 patients have been discharged with details 127,927 declared cured, 1,048 were referred to other hospitals and 596 people died.

Meanwhile, at the Wisma Atlet Pademangan Emergency Hospital, 4,662 inpatients who were self-quarantined as of Tuesday. That number decreased by 447 people compared to Monday (21/12) as many as 5,109 people.

The Coordinator of the Wisma Atlet Covid-19 Emergency Hospital in Kemayoran, Major General TNI Budiman, invited all parties to continue to carry out health protocols in a disciplined manner. According to him, vigilance by complying with the 5M health protocol is the most important thing so that Covid-19 cases do not rise again.
