Bogor Regent Inaugurates Six Parks At Once
SENTUL - Bogor Regent Ade Yasin inaugurated six parks built by the Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab), West Java, using the regional budget in 2021.
"Alhamdulillah, it was carried out well, we have overcome many obstacles and obstacles," he said in his symbolic inauguration of the six parks at the Pancakarsa Monument Park, Sentul, Bogor, as reported by Antara, Monday, December 27 night.
The six parks are Bojonggede Change Park, Jasinga Thematic Park, Lewiliang Square, Klapanunggal Thematic Park, Cariu Square, and Tugu Pancakarsa Park.
Ade Yasin said that although the six parks had been inaugurated, they had not been opened to the public during the Christmas and New Year holidays according to the rules for the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities which are valid from December 24, 2021 to January 2, 2022.
In addition, this year the Bogor Regency Government uses a regional budget of Rp. 356.5 billion for the City Beautification Project, which includes the construction of the Pancakarsa Monument, pedestrians, road quality improvement, and the procurement of trash bins in the Cibinong Raya area.
"We will complete them one by one due to budget constraints, so gradually. We really want to show the friendly, clean and beautiful face of Cibinong," said Ade Yasin.
The use of the budget is spread across four regional apparatuses, namely Rp. 328 billion to the Public Works and Spatial Planning Office, Rp. 21 billion to the Department of Housing, Settlement Areas, Rp. 437 million to the Department of Environment, and Rp. 7.3 billion to the Department of Transportation.
Meanwhile, Head of the Bogor Regency Housing and Land Areas Housing Service (DPKPP), Ajat Rohmat Jatnika said that the six parks and squares that were inaugurated were only part of the work in 2021.
The reason is that in the same year, the Bogor Regency Government has also inaugurated several parks, such as the Cirimekar Cibinong Square, and some have not been inaugurated, such as the Inspiration Park in the Bogor Regency DPRD area.
Ajat ensured that the public could visit the parks belonging to the Bogor Regency Government when the PPKM regulations already allowed the parks to be opened to the public.
"Today it was only inaugurated, not opened. So it is not opened to be closed. Later, any citizen may visit because public facilities are not limited to administrative areas," said Ajat.
