Survey Of Potential Presidential And Vice Presidential Candidates: Prabowo Can Win If Ganjar Doesn't Participate In The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - The Politica Research & Consulting Institute together with Indonesian Political Parameters released the results of a survey related to potential national figures for presidential and vice presidential candidates in 2024. At the same time, they are looking at the possible axis of political party coalitions.

In the survey, PRC and PPI simulated pairs of presidential and vice presidential candidates for the 2024 presidential election. There were three simulations that were asked to respondents.

"Of course this is still liquid. (But) in our last few surveys, Ganjar was always ranked one and two. That's what makes this pair pattern we do apart from those who have authority in the party," said Rio Prayogo, Executive Director of Politica Research & Consulting in a release. National Political Outlook Survey: Gazing at the Party Coalition Axis online, Monday, 27 December.

The first simulation was to propose the Ganjar Pranowo-Ridwan Kamil pair, winning with 32.1 percent gain. Against Prabowo Subianto-Puan Maharani who had to settle for 25.7 percent. While the pair Anies Baswedan - Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono got 23.7 percent.

For the second simulation, Ganjar won again when paired with Sandiaga Uno with a result of 36.2 percent. Meanwhile, the Prabowo-Airlangga duo only got 26.9 percent, followed by Anies-AHY with 19.1 percent.

"Equally strong on the side of the presidential and vice presidential candidates," explained Rio.

The third simulation, if Ganjar does not participate in the 2024 presidential election contestation, then Prabowo Subianto can win with Anies Baswedan with 49.7 percent gain. Followed by the pair Sandiaga - Puan 20.5 percent. Meanwhile, the Airlangga-Muhaimin duo had to be far behind by 3.8 percent.

"The Prabowo - Anies pair can win absolutely if their opponent is Sandiaga Uno - Puan Maharani or Airlangga Hartarto - Muhaimin Iskandar," said Rio.
