PSI Giring Doesn't Mention Anies Baswedan's Name About Criticism Of 'Dloomy Indonesia Led By A Liar Who Fired Jokowi', Why Mencak?
JAKARTA - Social media activist Kristia Budiyarto expressed surprise at the defender of the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan, who responded to the speech of the Chairperson of the PSI DPP General Chair, Giring Ganesha.
According to Kang Dede, Kristia's nickname, Giring's speech did not mention the name of Anies Baswedan as a minister figure who had been fired by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) because he could not work.
With the various defenses that appeared, according to Kang Dede, he actually negated that Anies was indeed incompetent at work.
"Various reactions from supporters of @aniesbaswedan say that they are not good at work & LIAR. Kan Giring did not mention names," tweeted Kang Dede via his Twitter account @kangdede78, quoted on Monday, December 27.
Giring's criticism of the minister who was sacked by Jokowi was conveyed during PSI's 7th anniversary some time ago. In his speech, Giring did not mention who was the figure of the minister who had been fired by Jokowi.
The public also linked Giring's speech with Anies Baswedan, who was once trusted by Jokowi to hold the position of Minister of Education and Culture.
Giring stated that Indonesia's progress would be threatened if in the future the person who replaced Jokowi was someone who had a track record of using SARA issues and justifying any means to win the Pilkada.
"Indonesia will be gloomy if those who are elected later are liars and have also been fired by Pak Jokowi because they are incompetent at work," said Giring in a speech that was also attended by President Jokowi.
Therefore, continued Giring, all PSI administrators and cadres will fight hard so that those who will be elected to replace Jokowi are people who are committed to continuing the work that Jokowi has done.
The deputy chairman of the DPRD from the Gerindra faction, Mohamad Taufik, said that if the person being insinuated was Anies, then Anies did not need to respond.
"Why do you want to respond like that? No need. (Giring) is not his class (Anies)," said Taufik when met at the DKI Jakarta DPRD Building, Friday, December 24.
Taufik believes that Giring is indeed a political figure who often finds fault with others. After all, if it is true that Anies is a liar, Taufik asks Giring to prove it. Otherwise, Giring's statement is merely seeking sensation.
"Giring doesn't get tired of finding fault with people who aren't necessarily wrong, I think he should show a good political way. Don't just talk about it. If I just understand, he's still looking for content for his TikTok, for his social media ", said Taufik.
